Our building which houses rent control and low income tenants was purchased by Community Corporation of Santa Monica in January of 2020. With this purchase came the promise that all existing tenants be allowed to continue living in their units. As well as a promise to rehabilitate our deteriorating building. After years of trying unsuccessfully to find funding for the rehabilitation of our building, there is now a chance that we will lose a place over 100 tenants call home.
